I haven’t seen any recent pictures of Ravi Shankar, but i rather like this one from The Guardian. Its very diffrent to the usual pics you find of him. Just wish there were more photos from the shoot released.

Was so lucky and fortunate to see a intimate gig with the man on stage telling stories, reciting poems and singing classics, in only the way he could. Had been a fan since college after a swedish friend made me a mini disk mix tape of jazz. Never expect id get the chance to see him live or release a new album in 2010. This is the first song i heard by him.
In his older age i liked him even more, i could listen to him for hours .. when he tells little stories and ramblings….
Go on Gill play it.. This performance reminds me of the London gig.. 2/6 worth watching them all.
